Do I need an account?
Not to play. Ranking a song result needs a GameNow sign-in; 'Save this result' holds the run while you pick a nickname and a 6-digit PIN. Stage-mode bests stay on the device, and lamps and bests saved as a guest aren't moved to the account.
What happens if I switch tabs mid-song?
The song pauses; music, notes and judgement share the audio clock, so all freeze together. Resume continues after a 3-second count, and Quit returns to the menu.
Does note speed change the score?
No. The 1 to 8 slider (default 4) only changes scroll speed; charts, timing windows and scoring are unchanged, so challenges don't fix speed or sync.
Why is PERFECT narrower on some charts?
Early runs already produced S ranks and full combos, so the top of the rankings didn't separate. Hard charts added under rules version 2 (Today's Song from 2026-10-05, the jangdan tracks) use ±33 ms; older charts keep ±45 ms so records stay comparable.
